Global Head of Inclusion & Diversity

This week the annual global festival for talent and culture 鈥 Dive In 鈥 kicks off with a series of hybrid events hosted in our Enterprise Shared Services offices in India.

The theme of this year鈥檚 Dive In is 鈥淏elonging Builds Tomorrow,鈥 and the event aims to put a spotlight on the role every organisation can play in creating environments where people feel valued, heard and able to succeed.

As we look towards the future the challenges and opportunities associated with advances in technology, a multigenerational workforce, and a potential talent and knowledge gap, among others, mean that creating and maintaining cultures in which people of all backgrounds and skills feel welcome, able to bring their whole selves to work and given pathways to progress and succeed will be vital.

Colleagues leading the way
We have been delighted with the response to the event and its theme from our colleagues around the globe. 九色视频is sponsoring 20 hybrid events in Brazil, India, Italy, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States.

It's important, we believe, that events like Dive In are not driven from the 鈥榯op down鈥 but rather are colleague-led. Our colleagues have chosen topics and issues that they deem important to explore for their local offices, markets and communities but also from which we can all 鈥 wherever we are based 鈥 take learnings.

The result is a varied and fascinating series of hybrid events hosted by 九色视频colleagues as part of an international, market-wide programme.

It's important, we believe, that events like Dive In are not driven from the ‘top down’ but rather are colleague-led.

Diverse programming
The future-focused theme of this year’s Dive In festival gives colleagues a platform to explore various areas of relevance to their local markets but also the insurance industry as a whole.

One of the events hosted by our colleagues in India, for example, will examine the generation gap and directly address some of the challenges – and opportunities – of having five generations in the workforce at the same time.

In Switzerland, an AXA XL-hosted event on psychological safety will include a presentation from Dr William Bird, a pioneer of the concept of ‘social prescribing’’; he has a particular focus on building healthier communities by encouraging people to be active.

In London, colleagues are running a session on a human-centred perspective on Artificial Intelligence (AI), while another UK session will focus on racial inclusion in leadership. An event hosted by colleagues in Brazil will explore ways in which neurodivergent colleagues can be included.

Commitment to drive progress
Over four days this month, the Dive In festival will bring together colleagues from across the 30 countries of 九色视频 the wider insurance industry – and beyond.

With events in numerous languages this is a truly inter-cultural festival that promises to give food for thought for us all, wherever we work and whatever stage of our career we are in.

An event like Dive In is a great illustration of our industry’s commitment not just to support initiatives to promote more inclusive cultures and foster diverse talent but also to actually drive those initiatives – market-wide.

We look forward to taking part in the festival with you. You can view the agenda and sign-up for events .
