¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵannounced today that Christine Snyder has joined its Bermuda ÓÈÎïÊÓƵExcess Casualty Team as a Vice President, Senior Underwriter.

In this role, Ms. Snyder’s responsibilities include delivering profitable underwriting service to clients; developing and managing underwriting strategies for both renewed and new business within AXA XL’s Excess Casualty portfolio, primarily Construction, Energy and General Casualty accounts; and building and maintaining relationships with brokers and clients while identifying and establishing new distribution relationships.

Prior to joining ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ Ms. Snyder held progressively senior roles at Chubb (formerly ACE), including most recently Executive Underwriter, Excess Casualty Construction. In that role she was also the Construction Industry Practice Leader for the MidAtlantic Region.

Commenting on the appointment, Vivienne Moniz, Head of Excess Casualty, Bermuda, said: “Christine is a welcomed addition to our Excess Casualty team. Her construction industry knowledge, strategic marketing and underwriting experience in US metro hubs such as New York and the MidAtlantic region, and cultivated relationships with brokers on the US East Coast will further enhance our service to clients and broker partnerships.”
