¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵÓÈÎïÊÓƵtoday announced the appointments of Joelle Gemayel and Hans Mazenauer as Client and Distribution Leaders, Switzerland, effective immediately.

Both based in Zurich and reporting to Moreno Buehler, Head of Distribution, Switzerland, they will be responsible for implementing AXA XL’s distribution strategy in the country.

Manuel Meier, Country Leader Switzerland, ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ, commented: “I am delighted that Joelle and Hans are joining our Client and Distribution team, a strategic function that plays a key role in deepening our relationships with national and regional brokers. They are both very experienced and established in the Swiss commercial insurance market and I look forward to working with them to provide our partners best-in-class customer experience.”

Joelle Gemayel joins from Zurich ÓÈÎïÊÓƵCompany, where she most recently held the position of Global Relationship Leader, Commercial ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ, Switzerland. A neurobiologist with a doctorate (Ph. D.) from ETH Zurich, she started her career in insurance through research assignments at the Brain Research Institute of ETH Zurich and later at Novartis.

Hans Mazenauer joins from HDI Global SE where he was Managing Director for the Swiss branch, a position he held for ten years. Prior to that, he worked for Winterthur International and later XL ÓÈÎïÊÓƵwhere he most notably was Country Manager for Switzerland.
