¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵÓÈÎïÊÓƵtoday announced it has appointed Vanessa Karvela as Head of Client Management &Business Development for its APAC &Europe Business Unit.

In this role, Ms. Karvela will be responsible for developing and implementing AXA XL’s client experience strategy in APAC & Europe in close collaboration with Country Leaders.

He added: “Vanessa’s international background, business acumen and in-depth knowledge of our organisation, gained in various strategy roles at AXA Group and ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ positions her ideally to help us deliver on that commitment while leveraging AXA XL’s global capabilities to the benefit of our clients.”

Ms. Karvela joined AXA Group as a Senior Strategy Manager in 2015 before moving to ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵin 2018, first as Chief of Staff within the Client & Country Management team and later as Chief of Staff for Doina Palici-Chehab, Senior Advisor to Group CEO. Prior to joining AXA, Ms. Karvela held several business development roles in banking and asset management. Ms Karvela holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the American College of Greece, a Master’s Degree in Finance & Strategy from Sciences Po and a MBA from INSEAD.
