¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµnames David Jones as CUO Retail

¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµhas today announced the appointment of David Jones as Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO) Retail, UK & Lloyd's. Based in London, he will start his new role in Spring 2026.
In his new role, Mr. Jones will be responsible for developing and executing the underwriting strategy for AXA XL’s UK & Lloyd’s Retail business.
Commenting on the appointment, Mike Gosselin, Chief Underwriting Officer, UK & Lloyd's at ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµsaid: “I am delighted that David is joining the business. He has extensive leadership and underwriting expertise and a proven track record of driving growth, innovation and talent development.

David has over 20 years industry experience and joins ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµfrom QBE ÓÈÎïÊÓÆµwhere he is currently Director of Underwriting for Property and Packaged business. He was Head of London Market at QBE Europe prior to this. He joined QBE from Aviva and started his career at Mitsui Sumitomo ÓÈÎïÊÓÆµGroup.
