
¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµpromotes Mick Turvey to lead UK Mid-market underwriting

¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµhas promoted Mick Turvey to Head of Mid-market Underwriting and UK Regions, UK & Lloyd's.
In his role, Mr Turvey will be leading the underwriting strategy for the middle market portfolio with a focus on UK clients with both domestic and international exposures. He will be heading up the UK regional teams in Bristol, Birmingham, Glasgow, Leeds, London, and Manchester.
Commenting on Mr Turvey's promotion, Mike Gosselin, Chief Underwriting Officer, UK & Lloyd's, said: "We've charged Mick with leading the underwriting portfolio for our mid-market segment. The size of the available UK mid-market business is estimated to be £9bn of gross written premium in our target space. We believe we can bring our expertise in commercial risk to this important client segment, offering new capacity and wording.

Mick Turvey joined ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ(under XL Catlin) in April 2013 and has 35 years' underwriting experience in property and casualty.
