XL Catlin’s insurance operations today announced it has promoted Melissa McDermott to Head of Pricing for Global Lines.

In her new role, Ms. McDermott will be responsible for driving portfolio and technical excellence across the Global Lines portfolio. As part of this role, she will sit on the pricing leadership team as well as the Global Lines leadership team.

Ms. McDermott has 20 years of both reserving and insurance pricing experience, and joined XL Catlin seven years ago in actuarial financial reporting. She later became Head of Pricing for Global Risk Management, and most recently Deputy Head of Pricing for the North America Business Group.
